My Kindle so far

I bought a Kindle 2 not too long ago. I am in the Navy and about to go to sea for three months. I have done cruises before and being the book worm I am, hated carrying so many books with so little space provided by Uncle Sam. Enter the Kindle. I wanted the Nook, but the Kindle offered the ability to buy books while overseas and it was available now (unlike the Nook still not being out yet). So far I have to say I am impressed. I had already purchased books using the Kindle iPhone app, so I had a few already ready to go. Buying the books have proven to be really simple and I like the interface. The books are downloaded pretty fast over the AT&T network even over Edge, while in NC where there was no 3G coverage. The E-ink is pretty easy on the eyes and after buying an M-Edge cover to protect it, I really think this has been a worthwhile purchase. I will provide a more detailed review once I am back on solid ground with details on how it holds up at sea.
